2022 was the year the world fully returned to live events, and there were plenty of noteworthy ones to celebrate with.

Concerts were some of the most in-demand events, with a good chunk of the Northwest and the Midwest clamoring for country star Morgan Wallen as he brought his “Dangerous Tour” to the masses. He’s also expected to have a big 2023, as he will kick off his “One Night at a Time World Tour.”
Other country music events that dominated included Zac Brown Band in Minnesota, Chris Stapleton in Oklahoma, George Strait in Arkansas, and the CMA Awards in Tennessee.
Harry Styles’ larger-than-life “Love On Tour” led the way for pop music in Illinois and New York, Elton John’s final hurrah with “The Yellow Brick Road Tour” took Washington, while Adele, who kicked off her long-awaited residency in Vegas, won Nevada.
It was a big year for Bad Bunny, as the Latin singer claimed the top spot in Oregon, North Carolina, New Jersey and Washington DC with his “World’s Hottest” stadium tour.
As for sports, California was all about the Super Bowl LVI between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengal, Texas focused on the World Series between the Phillies and the Astros—as did Pennsylvania. Colorado cared about the Stanley Cup finals, Florida embraced Formula 1’s Miami Grand Prix, and Utah and Arizona liked two different UFC matches.
